Traditional sewer pipe replacement involves digging up the old pipe by hand or with a machine, and then laying down new sewer pipes. Because of the manual labor and the time it takes this process is very expensive.
The trenchless sewer drain replacement technology saves time and money and is greatly suited for sewer drain pipe replacement when working under already established construction, such as buildings driveways, or parking lots.
With trenchless sewer drain replacement a hole is excavated, where the cast iron or PVC pipes begin, and where the pipes end. The sewer drain pipe is exposed. A large strong steel cable is passed through the two holes. Attached to this cable is a large heavy metal cone shaped head that breaks the old pipe in place to exactly the size of the new trenchless drain pipe. The new sewer drain pipe is connected together to the ends of the old pipe. This joins them to form one continuous length of sewer drain pipe without any joints, eliminating brakes tree roots and leaks.
